After an exciting 13 weeks, the Vat Jou Goed en Trek TV series has come to an end.

This series saw presenter Henck Conrey, interior designer Lara Fourie and contractors travel the length and breadth of the country, renovating properties to help the owners achieve a sale. Once the homes were improved expert agents from RE/MAX assisted with marketing and selling the refurbished property.

The season started with a bang as the team successfully completed a home makeover in an incredible 72 minutes. Over the next 12 weeks the team undertook projects as diverse as converting a home for a blind couple, to helping a family sell their holiday home on the coast – all with spectacular results.

The Vat Jou Goed en Trek team believe in giving back and one heart-warming episode saw them renovate the Icare Hospice which provides education, meals and shelter to street children. At the end of the project the kids had a new classroom complete with computers, a fully functional bathroom, warm flooring and a beautiful garden. Viewers of the show were invited to enter a competition on Private Property’s website to win a R50 000 voucher from Cashbuild. At the conclusion of the show the lucky winner was drawn. Huge congratulations to Mark Collings to winning the voucher. We’re sure that it will be put to good use.

Look out for the next series of Vat Jou Goed en Trek which will be coming to your screen in the second half of 2017.
