136.6 ha Farm in Dullstroom

Scenic Cherry Farm. In the heart of the mist belt, this 136ha farm has recently been developed into a cherry farm. The cherry orchid consists of 3.88ha of cherry trees under 2.7m high netted tunnels, micro irrigated from a source on the farm. It is completely supported by all the infrastructure needed for this intensive operation. Almost 100 beehives, imperative to the fertilization of the cherries trees, are in the process of being inhabited. Supporting plants for the bees include lavender and basil.

The original farm house burnt down but can be renovated as it was deemed structurally safe.
